The company is made up of a closely-knit team of professionals, whose prime responsibility is to create and manage a variety of corporate events. These events range from sales meetings, product launches, road shows, conferences, study tours and incentive programs. International Travel Consultant


This is an excellent opportunity to expand your travel skill base and work in the specialised field of travel in one of Australia’s leading event management agencies. With a strong established client base, you will support the Events Teams where group and individual travel needs to be managed. Product development for pre and post touring will see your retail experience shine!


This exciting role with encompass the the following responsibilities;

– support the events and travel teams in the analysis and development of schedules for group travel movements

– support the travel team in sourcing and negotiating group fares with airline partners and subsequent management of group blocks

– provide customer service support through phone and email to event program participants
consulting and booking participant extension travel arrangement to mostly international destinations

– assist in the development of unique extension travel packages and options for international programs.


The ideal candidate will have:

– an absolute passion for delivering outstanding customer service

– a personality that thrives on detail and accuracy, ability to see problems before they arise

– minimum 5 years experience working as an international consultant

– excellent written and verbal communication skills

– SABRE experience preferred

– TRAVELOG front office system preferred

– Events Pro experience not essential but preferred

– proficient with MS Office Suite (Outlook, Excel, Word)

– high level computer proficiency and willingness to learn new programs

– an ability to confidently deal with and support various personalities

– a mature attitude with initiative and a commitment to job ownership
